On Sunday, April 29, we displayed the 12 mission quilts on the altar rail during worship.  Pictured above is Margaret Cannon with the quilts.  Margaret did a tremendous amount of work sewing the tops of these quilts. Other quilters who helped complete them were: Grace Ziegelmaier, Donna Reed, Claudia Dabbs, Gayle Bahlmann, Florence McKee and Joyce Glynn.  Grace took them to Decorah to be shipped to Lutheran World Relief.  From there they will be sent all over the world to people who need them.

In addition, Carolyn Vogel has donated 3 hand sewn 10" blocks quilts, sized 60x80". These were then hand tied by Grace Ziegelmaier, Donna Reed and Gayle Bahlmann. These will be donated where there is a need, maybe the camp auctions.
