At Our Savior’s Lutheran, we value the power of music and its ability to move us deeper in worship.
In 2009, Our Savior's purchased a Kawai GM-12 baby grand piano in loving memory of Stacia Peterson. Not only does it enhance the music of our worship services, but it enables us to offer period concerts to the community. Please visit our news blog for information about upcoming events.
Our church musician is celebrated Iowa composer and pianist, Tom Bourcier. A professor of jazz improvisation at Luther College in Decorah, Tom is an invaluable asset to our ministry. To read more about him, visit the news page of this site.

We also have a historic pipe organ with great sound.

In 2009 Our Savior's Lutheran produced a studio album called "Gather at the River," which contains 20 old favorite hymns of faith, played by our very own Horace Magnusson.
Our congregation embarked upon this ambitious project in order to preserve and promote our great heritage of Christian hymns as well as to uplift and inspire. Read about the production of this CD and see behind-the-scenes photos and video of the recording session here.

A huge, enthusiastic crowd gathered to hear the live performance and to obtain autographed CDs. Read more about that event here.
